UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of Bsub\atpI sequences carrying amino acid substitutions R122K and R126K and fused with a variant of cyan fluorescent protein (mseCFP) and monomeric (A206K) Venus (mVenus). This construct acts as a negative control; the mutations in Bsub\atpI results in a protein that has a very low affinity to ATP and cannot respond to changes in physiological ATP level in vitro (PMID:19720993).
