Description

UASt regulates expression of a mutant Hsap\ALK cDNA in which the tyrosine at position 1278 is changed to alanine. This mutation does not result in gain-of-function activity, which contrasts with the ligand-independent activation observed with the Y1278S mutation present in neuroblastoma patients.
