Affects female fertility.

Heterozygotes with br2Bab-1, br5, br2Bab-3 and brnpr-5 are completely lethal. Heterozygotes with br6. br2Bab-2. br7. br8 and brnpr-6 have reduced viability and br wings. Heterozygotes with br1 or br3 have normal viability and br wings. Heterozygotes with brrbp-1, brrbp-2, brrbp-3, brrbp-4 or brrbp-5 have normal viability and reduced bristle number on the palpus.
