      osk1/Df(3R)p-XT103 embryos carrying four copies of P{osk+6.45} are wild type.

      (Markussen et al., 1995)

      Four copies of the construct P{osk+6.45} causes the formation of 40-60 pole cells. Embryos carrying four copies of osk are frequently abnormal with defects in the head, thorax and abdominal and telson structures.
