When expressed using Scer\GAL4hs.PB, flies have numerous ectopic chordotonal organs that are distributed along the wing veins of the proximal quarter of the wing and are often in clusters. Flies also have some ectopic single bristles that are evenly distributed over the wing.
atoUAS.cCa/Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 is a suppressor | partially of eye disc morphogenetic furrow phenotype of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, wgwg.3'UTR.UAS
atoUAS.cCa/Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is a non-suppressor of interommatidial bristle phenotype of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, wgwg.3'UTR.UAS
Co-expression of atoScer\UAS.cCa does not rescue the loss of interommatidial bristles seen in flies expressing wgwg.3'UTR.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF. Co-expression of atoScer\UAS.cCa significantly rescues progression of the morphogenetic furrow in animals expressing wgwg.3'UTR.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1.
atoUAS.cCa/Scer\GAL4h-1J3 partially rescues ato1
Most of the lateral 5 chordotonal organ (lch5) neurons are restored in the thoracic segment T2 and the odd-numbered abdominal segments when atoScer\UAS.cCa is expressed in ato1 flies using Scer\GAL4h-1J3.
