      Comments

      Expression of fs(1)K10hs.PS restores near complete fertility (greater than 95% egg hatching) to fs(1)K10LM00 females. Maximal rescue occurs with heat shocks applied at any time between the middle of stage 7 and the middle of stage 8. Heat shocks applied at any time between the middle of stage 8 to the end of stage 8 can restore up to 35% fertility. No fertility is restored if heat shocks are applied during or after the end of stage 8.
