Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Overexpression of Hhs.PM can produce a small amount of ectopic vein material in the wing. Co-expression of Hhs.PM and HC2.hs results in a synergistic phenotype with strong induction of ectopic wing veins.

Heat induced expression causes bristle duplications and socket to shaft transformations. Wing veins are thicker, deltas appear at the wing margin and bristles are twinned along the wing margin.
