Expression of ptcEP941 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in a reduction in the size of the AP axis of the wing and abolishes the L3/4 territory and much of wing vein L3.

Expression of ptcEP941 under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4 produces wings of reduced size, particularly in the region between veins 3 and 4.

Wings of flies co-expressing ptcEP941 and high levels of smoScer\UAS.cHa.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 are indistinguishable from those of flies expressing ptcEP941 alone. Co-expression of ptcEP941 has no effect on the anterior overgrowth of the wing or ectopic venation caused by expression of high levels of fz::smoFFS.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, although ectopic venation is seen in a broad zone around the wing in these flies. Co-expression of ptcEP941 completely suppresses the ectopic venation and costal overgrowth caused by expression of smoC.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:Uuuu\Myr4 under the control of hemizygous Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 and instead reduces the wing to a tiny scrap.

pnrMD237/+ adults expressing ptcEP941 under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 do not form a scutellum.

When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4h-H10 in a roDOM mutant the stop-furrow phenotype of roDOM is substantially suppressed.
