Reference

Reporter gene expression was studied in adult brain. Preferential expression is observed in the mushroom bodies and in the central complex. Strong expression is also observed in the optic lobes and weaker expression is seen in many other areas of the brain. In the central complex, expression is seen in the fan shaped body. In the mushroom bodies, expression is observed in the entire volume of the mushroom body. Intense expression is observed in the circumferential elements of the α and β lobes and weak expression is observed in the γ lobes.
