Expression of klarScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4fkh.PH increases the size of the salivary gland lumen in embryos, often resulting in a branched lumen.
klarScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC when driven by Scer\GAL4elav-C155, can exhibit an eye phenotype. A rough eye phenotype is seen, in the retina facets are disorganised and far too few photoreceptors are seen. R-cell apical nuclear migration and cone cell migration are wild-type.
klarUAS.Tag:MYC/Scer\GAL4wg.PM is a suppressor of presumptive embryonic salivary gland phenotype of hkb2
The salivary gland defects of hkb2 embryos are partially rescued by expression of klarScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4wg.PM; the percentage of salivary glands with normal, elongated lumens is increased from 7% to 27%.
