Overexpression of HemScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 does not result in any defects in the overall morphology of the embryonic nervous system.

Muscle development in HemScer\UAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4twi.PG embryos appears normal.

Embryos expressing HemScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4sim.PS in a wild-type background show an abnormal axonal projection phenotype of the VUM neurons.

The reduced synaptic length seen at the neuromuscular junction in larvae expressing Fmr1EP3517 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 is not suppressed by co-expression of HemScer\UAS.cHa.

HemScer\UAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4twi.PG partially suppresses the loss of muscle fusion seen in blow2 homozygous embryos. The resulting embryos form fused and attached muscles, although defects in muscle number, size and attachment occur.

The reduced synaptic length seen at the neuromuscular junction of HemJ1-70/HemΔ2-6 larvae is rescued by expression of HemScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155.

The loss of muscle fusion seen in HemJ4-48 mutant embryos is almost completely rescued by HemScer\UAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4twi.PG.

Fails to rescue the fused commissure phenotype of Hemunspecified embryos when expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4sli.PS. HemScer\UAS.cHa partially rescues the HemJ4-48 phenotype when expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4sim.PS; commissures are separated and connectives are at a further distance from the midline compared to non-rescued HemJ4-48 embryos. The VUM neurons show a normal projection pattern.
