Expression via Scer\GAL4^fkh.PH produces a very strongly penetrant 'too wide and irregular lumen' phenotype in the embryonic salivary gland.

Expression of l(2)05510^EP2356 under the control of Scer\GAL4^sca-537.4 results in the loss of scutellar and dorsocentral macrochaetae. Sensory organs with no socket and one shaft and a short and thickened shaft with branching tips are seen.
