Expression of taiScer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU in third instar larvae leads to expansion of the posterior domain of the wing disc, particularly in the pouch, excessively folded wing tissue, and does not significantly alter the size of the anterior domain, as compared to controls. These flies die in during P-stage.

Wing clones expressing taiScer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU grow larger than age-matched control clones.

Expression of taiScer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU moderately expands adult eye size.

The expression of taiScer\UAS.cBa results in third instar larval class I abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaD and ddaE neurons exhibiting a reduced dendritic tree and dendrite branch misrouting (expression under the control of Scer\GAL4221) and class IV abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaC neurons exhibiting abnormal dendritic terminals (expression under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG), as compared to controls.

Expression of two copies of taiScer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 does not affect border cell migration.

Co-expression of taiScer\UAS.cBa enhances eye overgrowth in adults, and in larval eye discs enhances early S-phase entry, leads to greater spacing between apical tufts of photoreceptor clusters, and leads to large folds of excess tissue posterior to the morphogenetic furrow, in flies expressing ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.
