      Wings from flies expressing Su(H)Scer\UAS.T:SV40\nls2 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 have nicks in the distal part of the wing margin. When the wing disc is examined areas of ectopic growth are seen at the periphery. When Su(H)Scer\UAS.T:SV40\nls2 is driven by Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 the occasional wing nicks are observed, the proximal part of the wing is altered and the L3 vein is wider.
