Expression of drmScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PU induces ectopic anterior notum and inhibits scutellum formation.

Clones in the wing disc that are generated at the first larval instar and are expressing drmScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C survive in the peripodial epithelium but not in the disc proper.

Clones in the disc proper and the posterior lateral margin of the hinge of the wing disc that are generated at the mid- to late third larval instar and are expressing drmScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C clones minimise contact with their wild-type neighbours are form round vesicles that extrude basally.

Expression of drmScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP in clones in the eye disc induces an ectopic furrow and associated ectopic retinogenesis.

The 4o fate of the dorsal epidermis is replaced with 1o-3o fates in embryos expressing drmScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1.

Expression of drmScer\UAS.cGa in clones in the leg under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI results in an indentation in the cuticle, which may occur anywhere along the proximodistal axis of the leg. These clones never induce leg tissue outgrowths.

drmScer\UAS.cGa; Scer\GAL4byn-Gal4 embryos have an expanded small intestine.

Embryos expressing drmScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4byn-Gal4 have a short, distended hindgut, which consists of a uniform layer of cuboidal cells (similar to the wild-type small intestine). The boundary cell rows are absent.
