Expression of bazS151A.S1085A.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified in the oocyte results in a high density of microtubules throughout the oocyte at stage 9, in contrast to the anterior-to-posterior gradient seen in the wild type at this stage.

Expression of bazS151A.S1085A.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 results in mis-positioning of the nucleus in the oocyte, and eggs produced by these females are ventralised.

Expression of bazS151A.S1085A.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4c306 results in border follicle cell detachment defects, with many border cells showing no migration. In addition, border cells showing incomplete migration are seen.
