C(1;Y)6/Dp(1;f)YP223 males that are homozygous for tefyh137 show an increased frequency of non-disjunction of the fourth chromosomes (3.5%) but not of the sex chromosomes compared to wild type. Homozygous XY males show an increased frequency of non-disjunction of the fourth chromosomes (4.6%) but not of the sex chromosomes compared to wild type. tefyh137/tefZ5549 XY males show 6.7% non-disjunction of the fourth chromosomes. tefyh137/Df(2R)P803-Δ15 XY males show 9.7% non-disjunction of the fourth chromosomes. Either one or both of the major autosomes are unpaired in meiosis I in hemizygous males, while sex chromosome pairing is intact.
