Expression of Jafrac1Scer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU results in lack of uracil-dependent defecation.

Flies expressing Jafrac1Scer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show 15% mortality within 24 hours of mild wounding in 7-8 days old adults compared to 1% in controls. The mortality rate is increased to ~50% in response to more severe wounding.
