The expression of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL469B leads to larval lethality at higher expression (individuals reared at 29[o]C and 25[o]C) and produces adults escapers with locomotor defects at lower expression (individuals reared at 18[o]C).

The expression of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR leads to embryonic lethality at higher expression (individuals reared at 29[o]C), and pupal semi-lethal with adults escapers with strong locomotor defects at intermediate expression (individuals reared at 25[o]C). Larvae also exhibit decreased locomotion, namely decreased frequency of peristaltic waves.

The expression of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4c179 or Scer\GAL4how-24B leads to decreased larval locomotion at higher expression (individuals reared at 29[o]C) and pupal lethality at intermediate expression (individuals reared at 25[o]C).

The expression of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.F3-580 leads to a progressive decrease in adult climbing ability.

The expression of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa leads to retinal degeneration.

The expression of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PK leads to a small wing and loss of patterning elements.

The expression of one or two copies of CNBPGD7370 under the control of either Scer\GAL4tub.PU, Scer\GAL4Act.PU or Scer\GAL469B results in lethality before the end of the pupal or larval stages, respectively, which is more severe at 29[o]C than at 25[o]C of temperature.

Under 29[o]C temperature, the expression of one copy of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU results in decreased wing size, as compared to controls; expression of two copies of CNBPGD7370 leads to a more pronounced decrease in wing size, associated with some loss of some wing veins and other patterning elements, as compared to controls. Under 25[o]C temperature, the expression of two copies of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU also results in a significant decrease in wing size, as compared to controls.

Adults expressing CG3800GD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in late pupal lethality.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in bristle morphology defects on the notum in 0% or 30-40% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 expression domain, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in the absence of 0% or 60-70% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237-expressing area of the notum, depending on the insertion line used.

The decreased wing size of individuals expressing two copies of CNBPGD7370 under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU and reared at 25[o[C temperature, is partially suppressed by the co-expression of MycScer\UAS.cZa.
