Ovaries from virgin females expressing EcRGD1428 under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 do not show changes in the number of germline stem cells in the germarium, as compared to controls.

The expression of EcRGD1428 under the control of Scer\GAL4r4 leads to lethality when individuals are reared under a high sugar diet (i.e. 1M sucrose), but not under a standard sugar diet (0.15M sucrose).

Expression of EcRGD1428 under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO leads to accumulation of lipid droplets in the prothoracic gland cells of third instar larvae.

Expression of EcRGD1428 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in male flies with weak wing size and patterning defects.

Expression of EcRGD1428 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in female flies with weak wing size and patterning defects.

Expression via Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 prevents proper differentiation of alpha/beta neurons in mushroom bodies, resulting in a smaller volume.

Expression via Scer\GAL4wor.PA and Scer\GAL80ase.PN prolongs the lifetime and prevents shrinkage of pupal neuroblasts (NBs). These longer lived NBs continue dividing for a longer time and generate more neuronal progeny than wild type.

Larvae expressing EcRGD1428 under the control of Scer\GAL4Hml.PG show normal rates of encapsulation of eggs when parasitised by the avirulent L. boulardi wasp strain G486.

Adults expressing EcRGD1428 under the control of the cardioblast-specific Scer\GAL4tin.CΔ4 driver show significantly reduced survival on day 6 after a shift to 29[o]C compared to control flies.

Adults expressing EcRGD1428 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in early pupal lethality.

Downregulation of EcR through expression of EcRGD1428 in ddaC neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4109(2)80 causes strong ddaC pruning defects at 18h APF.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in lethality (either before or at the pupal stage), depending on the insertion line used.
