Expression of Ero1LGD3577 under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 or Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 combined with Scer\GAL80Su(H).GBE (and using tub-Gal80[ts] to limit the time of expression) results in increased cell proliferation in the adult gut. Somatic MARCM clones expressing the RNAi under the Scer\GAL4unspecified driver contain highly increased number of cells relative to control clones.

Reducing the levels of Ero1L through expression of Ero1LGD3577 under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PK, results in a mild wing vein-thickening phenotype.
