Detailed Description

Expressing Traf6GD7146 under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 (together with Dicer-2, for a more efficient RNAi) does not induce any major L3 spermatogenesis defects.

Adults expressing Traf6GD7146 under the control of Scer\GAL4NP0001 do not exhibit significant mortality to Ecc15 enteric infection, as compared to controls.

Expression of Traf6GD7146 under the control of either Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 or Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 results in impaired intestinal stem cell proliferation in response to paraquat.

Adults expressing Traf6GD7146 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Depending on the insertion line used, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR can result in viable flies or early pupal lethality.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Expression of Traf6GD7146 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PU suppresses the resistance to paraquat seen in pucB48/+ mutant flies. Mortality rates are increased compared to controls.

Expression of Traf6GD7146 suppresses the rough eye phenotype and third instar larval eye disc cell death seen when Atg9Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Co-expression of Traf6GD7146 partially suppresses the wing defects caused by expression of HIV-1\VpuScer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1.
