Detailed Description

Expression of Syt1GD842 driven by Scer\GAL4phm.PO does not lead to developmental delay/arrest at the larval stage.

Adults expressing Syt1GD842 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression of sytGD842 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu results in lethality at different stages, abnormal wing posture, flight and locomotory defects.

Coexpression of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa with sytGD842, under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH and Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, causes a mild rough eye phenotype, while no such phenotype is seen when only sytGD842 is expressed.
