Adults expressing Gyc76CdsRNA.UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA show increased susceptibility (i.e. mortality) to Gram-positive bacterial infections (Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Enterococcus faecalis, and Staphylococcus aureus). Larvae expressing Pde6UAS.EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4c564 also exhibit increased susceptibility to infection with Staphylococcus saprophyticus bacteria.
