Expression of TFAMJF02307 under the control of Scer\GAL4tim.PE (in combination with Dicer-2 alone or together either with Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS or with tub-Gal80[ts], to restrict expression to the adult stage) but not Scer\GAL4Pdf.PU (in combination with Dicer-2), leads to a significant reduction in the amplitude of locomotor activity rhythm (circadian rhythm) under constant darkness when compared to control adults.

Expression of TFAMJF02307 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 does not lead to any changes in the eye color when compared to controls.

Scer\GAL4GMR.PU-mediated expression of TFAMJF02307 does not result in an eye phenotype.
