Expression of ciKK100760 under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 results in the presence of supernumerary spectrosome-containing cells in germaria; results in cystoblasts undergoing complete cytokinesis to produce two spectrosome-containing cells instead of forming a two-cell cyst; and leads to closure of the ring canals and breakdown of the fusomes observed in differentiating cysts.

Expressing ciKK100760 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH does not cause any overt eye overgrowth.

Expression of ciKK100760 in C-IV neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 results in a reduction in total dendritic length in ddaC, v'ada and vdaB neurons. The total number of dendritic branches is also reduced in ddaC and v'ada neurons.

Expression of ciKK100760 in C-I neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4221 results in ddaD neurons that have an increased number of dendritic branches compared to controls.

ciKK100760 enhances the eye overgrowth phenotype seen when DlScer\UAS.cDa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH, resulting in flies with secondary eye growths within the thorax and abdomen. The phenotype is seen with 10% penetrance.
