      Comments

      Expression of fonScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 partially rescues the lethality of fonΔ17A and Df(2L)fonΔ27A homozygotes. However, the increased strand length that can be drawn out from the larval hemolymph in a drawout assay testing coagulation is not rescued in these animals.
