    Statement
    Reference

ASPPd/ASPP8, Cskj1D8/+ adults very frequently show wing notches, which are never observed in controls; this phenotype is fully rescued by ASPPUbi-p63E.GFP, but only partially by ASPPFA.Ubi-p63E.GFP.

The rough eye phenotype observed in adults expressing MagiScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is not modified by combination with single copy of ASPPd.

68% of ASPPd ; Cskj1D8/+ flies have notched wings.

    arm3/+ ; ASPPd/ASPPd flies have enlarged eyes.

    Comments

ASPPd/ASPP8 transheterozygotes show increased numbers of inter-ommatidial cells and misplaced bristles in the pupal eye, as well as the enlarged wings in adults, all of which are fully rescued by ASPPUbi-p63E.GFP but only partially rescued by ASPPFA.Ubi-p63E.GFP, ASPPKVK.Ubi-p63E.GFP, ASPPFA-WK.Ubi-p63E.GFP, or ASPPWK.Ubi-p63E.GFP. ASPPd/ASPP8 transheterozygotes also show duplicated scutellar bristles, which are fully and partially suppressed in males and females, respectively, by ASPPUbi-p63E.GFP, and partially suppressed in both males and females by ASPPFA.Ubi-p63E.GFP.
