Ilp2UAS.cZa/Scer\GAL4hs.PB partially rescues Df(3L)Ilp1-5
Expression of Scer\GAL4hs.PB-driven Ilp2Scer\UAS.cZa is sufficient to rescue the growth defects of Df(3L)dilp1-5 homozygotes. The developmental delay associated with Df(3L)dilp1-5 homozygotes is largely rescued upon Ilp2Scer\UAS.cZa expression, with homozygotes reaching the wandering third-instar larval stage after 6 days.
The decreased cell size in the fat body of homozygous Df(3L)dilp1-5 mutants is rescued by expression of Ilp2Scer\UAS.cZa driven by Scer\GAL4hs.PB.
The starvation phenotype in the fat body of homozygous Df(3L)dilp1-5 mutants is partially rescued by expression of Ilp2Scer\UAS.cZa driven by Scer\GAL4hs.PB.
