Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Elimination of molecular clock function (using cycΔ.UAS.Tag:MYC) in Scer\GAL4GMR78G02 cells in adults does not affect the strength of the circadian rhythm of sleep-wake cycles, compared to controls; this is also the case when expression is restricted to a smaller subset of cells using Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS. Elimination of clock function in a subset of the combined set of Scer\GAL4GMR78G02 and Scer\GAL4Dvir\Pdf.1.9 cells (restricted using Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS) in adults significantly reduces the strength of the circadian rhythm of sleep-wake cycles, compared to controls.
