Detailed Description

Expression of moodyKK100674 under the control of Scer\GAL4tey-5053A (in combination with a Dicer-2 transgene to enhance RNAi efficiency) does not cause any difference in growth response of motoneuron axons after nerve crush injury in third instar larvae, as compared to wild type.

Females that express moodyKK100674 in glial cells using Scer\GAL4repo are viable and behave as wild-type females with regard to mating.

Df(1)JC70/Df(1)Exel6234 mutant females expressing Scer\GAL4repo>moodyKK100674 show post-mating behaviour that is similar to that of wild-type females, i.e. receptivity is reduced and oviposition increased.

Females expressing Scer\GAL4repo>moodyKK100674 mated with SP0 mutant males behave very much like virgins.

Df(1)JC70/Df(1)Exel6234 females expressing Scer\GAL4repo>moodyKK100674 mated with SP0 mutant males behave very much like virgins.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Co-expression of moodyKK100674 does not suppress the enhanced growth response of motoneuron axons after nerve crush injury seen in larvae expressing Mmus\PkacamC.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4tey-5053A.
