Adults expressing Gyc76CdsRNA.UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA show increased susceptibility (i.e. mortality) to infection with Staphylococcus saprophyticus bacteria. Larvae expressing Gyc76CdsRNA.UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4c564 (together with Dicer-2, for more efficient RNAi) also exhibit increased susceptibility to infection with Staphylococcus saprophyticus bacteria.

Expression of Gyc76CdsRNA.UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA leads to increased mortality upon infection by S. saprophyticus when compared to control adults.

Flies expressing Gyc76CdsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4Uro.PT show normal survival in response to infection with E. coli.

Flies expressing Gyc76CdsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4Uro.PT show reduced survival under salt stress compared to controls.
