Unlike controls, flies expressing USP30NIG.3016R via Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL, Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI or Scer\GAL4ple.PF show no impairment in climbing performance following treatment with paraquat.

Flies expressing USP30NIG.3016R via Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL, Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI or Scer\GAL4ple.PF that are fed with paraquat live significantly longer than controls fed with paraquat.

Expression of CG3016NIG.3016R under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 does not result in a wing phenotype.

Expression of CG3016NIG.3016R under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PU does not result in a bristle phenotype.
