Expression of XNPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.Sym under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 partially rescues the lethality of pnrVX6/pnrMD237 such that 33% of the animals survive.

Expression of two copies of XNPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.Sym under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 partially rescues the lethality of pnrMD237 homozygotes such that 32% of the animals survive.

Co-expression of XNPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.Sym completely suppresses the thoracic cleft phenotype seen in flies expressing DrefGD11784 under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 and the penetrance of the loss of thoracic macrochaetae phenotype is reduced to 65%.
