Expression of midScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in 70% embryonic lethality. 46% of the dead embryos have fusions of the midline of the ventral denticle belts.

Expression of midScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL469B results in just under 50% embryonic lethality. 33% of the dead embryos have fusions of the ventral denticle belts.
