95% of flies expressing UbpyDN.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf have a robust locomotor activity rhythm with a 25 hour period, approximately 1.5 hours longer than controls.
Only 58.3% of flies expressing UbpyDN.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Dvir\Pdf.1.9 show rhythmic locomotor activity at 25[o]C and only 8% are rhythmic at 29[o]C.
Expression of UbpyDN.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4tim.PE limited to the adult stage (using the temperature sensitive Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B allele to limit expression) results in a reduction in the fraction of flies with rhythmic locomotor activity, and the remaining rhythmic flies have very weak rhythms.
