Expression of Tn\neoRScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU does not result in survival under these conditions.

The developmental delay which is seen in animals expressing Tn\neoRScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control ofScer\GAL4h.PU and exposed to G418 during their development is retained in several generations of progeny of these animals grown for multiple generations in a G418-free environment, before reverting to the normal phenotype. A heritable delay in development is also seen if expression is driven using Scer\GAL4drm.7.1.
