Expression of Gad1^HMC03350 under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR13B07 significantly increases larval light avoidance and increases the magnitude of larval head casts in response to light and in response to exiting a light spot, compared to controls; larvae are also significantly more likely to return to a light spot after leaving, compared to controls.

Expression of Gad1^HMC03350 under the control of Scer\GAL4^9-20, with expression further restricted using Scer\GAL80^iav.PF, significantly increases the duration of peristaltic waves during larval locomotion, compared to controls.
