Expression of uspScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO does not alter the timing of the 'critical weight' ecdysone peak compared to controls in response to starvation. Body size at critical weight is also similar to controls.

Expression of uspScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO in starved larvae results in pharate adults with an increased body size compared to controls.

Expression of uspScer\UAS.cUa enhances the delay in 'critical weight' ecdysone peak in response to starvation seen when foxoScer\UAS.cKc is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO. The increase in larval body size at critical weight is also enhanced.

Co-expression of uspScer\UAS.cUa and foxoScer\UAS.cKc under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO enhances the increase in pharate adult body size seen following larval starvation compared with either transgene alone.

Expressing foxoNK.Scer\UAS and uspScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO in foxoΔ94/Df(3R)Exel8159 mutant larvae does not alter the age and size of the 'critical weight' ecdysone peak, nor does it alter final body size when compared to overexpressing foxoNK.Scer\UAS alone.
