AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Low-frequency RNA-Seq exon junction(s) not annotated.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

EDTP transcript expression levels peak during early and mid embryonic stages, and cannot be detected by Northern analysis in significant amounts in larvae, early pupae, later pupae, or adults. EDTP transcript is uniformly distributed in the cytoplasm of embryos from freshly laid egg stage (stage 1) through embryonic stage 11, but is undetectable by embryonic stage 15. EDTP is strongly expressed in the cytoplasm of nurse cells from oogenesis stages 5-10, and faintly in oocytes during late oogenesis stages.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
Candidate for role in the regulation of longevity - as indicated by expression pattern of associated P{GawB}EDTPDJ694.
Area matching Drosophila ESTs AA990758 and AA246427 (975bp contig).
