UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a constitutively active form of Hsap\ELK1 in which Hsap\ELK1 sequences C-terminal to amino acid residue 307 (which includes the transcriptional activation domain) have been replaced by the VP16 transcriptional activation domain.
