    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

Modulation of voltage gated K+ currents induced by the neuropeptide pituitary adenylyl cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP38) is eliminated. The mutation fails to block or mimic PACAP38 (neuropeptide pituitary adenylyl cyclase-activating polypeptide) induced enhancement of K+ currents.

Extra R7 phenotype is suppressed by mutations in lilli.

Dominantly enhances penetrance of extra crossveins in chicgdh-5/EgfrE1 heterozygotes.

Severe roughening of the eye external surface, section through the eye reveals multi R7 cells per ommatidium. Injection of a Ras CAAX peptidomimetic, FTI-244, significantly suppresses the mutant eye phenotype. Injection of a related compound, FTI-242, does not suppress the eye phenotype, but injection of FTI-254 does.

Extra R7 cells formed in ommatidia.

    Rough eye phenotype.

Rough eye. Heterozygous rhoWk, rhoMod and rhoStg enhance the heterozygous phenotype.
