The expression of pntP1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4prd.PU leads to no significant changes in the number of oenocytes in Prd-positive thoracic or abdominal segments during stage 15 of embryogenesis, as compared to controls.

Expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of either Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 or Scer\GAL4Dl.PU (using tub-Gal80[ts] to limit the time of the transgene expression) results in intestinal stem cell overproliferation in the adult midgut.

Expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev results in 70% of ommatidia being symmetrical.

Overexpression of pntP2.Scer\UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E, induces vein loss in 0% in vein L4 and 89% in vein L5.

Expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 does not affect border cell motility.

Expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4twi.PG has no effect on cardioblast development.

Expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PB does not result in homeotic transformation of the eye to antenna.

Expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 does not result in ectopic furrow formation in the eye disc.

Expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.PG has no discernible effect on the viability or phenotype of embryos.

Scer\GAL4c532-mediated expression causes thinner and shorter dorsal appendages.

Scer\GAL455B and Scer\GAL4c324a mediated expression produces female progeny that lay wild type eggs that develop normally.

When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4hs.2sev, in an otherwise pntΔ88/pnt1277 background, an R7 photoreceptor is present in almost every ommatidium.

Ectopic expression of the P2 form of pnt driven by either Scer\GAL4rho.PL or Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 has no phenotypic effect.

The increase in the adult midgut intestinal stem cell proliferation characteristic for flies expressing pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 (using tub-Gal80[ts] to limit the time of the transgene expression) is not suppressed by co-expression of cicΔC2.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1.

Co-expression of kayScer\UAS.cEa has no effect on the symmetrical ommatidia phenotype caused by expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev.

Co-expression of either JraScer\UAS.cEa or aopEP598 partially suppresses the symmetrical ommatidia phenotype caused by expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev.

Co-expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS with mskScer\UAS.cLa, both under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E, further enhances the wing vein loss phenotype observed in pntP2.Scer\UAS single mutants, with vein loss to 97% in vein L4 and 100% in vein L5.

When phlScer\UAS.F179 and pntP2.Scer\UAS are coexpressed in the embryo under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E, the number of scolopidia in the lch5 organs is reduced from the normal number of 5 to 3 or 4 in 71% of hemisegments. When phlScer\UAS.F179 and pntP2.Scer\UAS are coexpressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PY in cells posterior to the morphogenetic furrow, most ommatidial clusters in the early stages of ommatidial assembly contain fewer than the normal number of neurons, with the specification of R3, R4, R1 and R6 being severely disrupted.

Co-expression of pntP2.Scer\UAS with Zzzz\aopPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF does not alter the eye morphology of Zzzz\aopPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC-expressing eyes.
