phl::tor12D.sev/+ eyes have a eyes with a highly irregular ommatidial pattern in which more than 70% of ommatidia have multiple R7-like cells.

The addition of SelDk11320/+ to phl::tor12D.sev/+ animals suppresses the eye phenotype so that 60% of ommatidia have the normal set of photoreceptors. Catn1 also suppresses these phenotypes.

The phl::tor12D.sev rough eye phenotype is greatly enhanced by Dsor1Su4.
