eye, with Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, ey2
eye | ectopic, with Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1
eyScer\UAS.ΔPD; Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 adults flies have ectopic eyes on various appendages. Expressivity of this phenotype varies depending on the P{UAS-ey.ΔPD} insertion used, correlating with the level of expression from the insertion.
ey2 flies that also have eyScer\UAS.ΔPD, (driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PH) show a stronger eye phenotype than ey2 flies alone. About 64% of flies have a complete loss of the compound eye. Expression of eyScer\UAS.ΔPD when driven by Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, in various imaginal discs, does not lead to the formation of any eye structures, but generates severely truncated appendages.
eyΔPD.UAS, Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 is a suppressor of visible phenotype of AntpUAS.cBa, Scer\GAL4ey-OK107
eyΔPD.UAS, Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 is a suppressor of eye phenotype of AntpUAS.cBa, Scer\GAL4ey-OK107
eyΔPD.UAS is a suppressor of antenna | ectopic phenotype of BacA\p35UAS.cHa, Scer\GAL4ey.PH, ey2
Co-expression of eyΔPD.Scer\UAS is able to rescue the eye loss caused by expression of AntpScer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107.
eyΔPD.UAS/Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 fails to rescue eyOK107-16/eyJD
eyΔPD.UAS/Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 fails to rescue eyOK107-16/eyEH
eyΔPD.UAS/Scer\GAL4ey.PH fails to rescue ey2
Expression of eyΔPD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 does not rescue the eye, mushroom body or central complex defects of eyEH/eyOK107-16 or eyJD/eyOK107-16 mutants.
