Detailed Description

Expression of cvEP1349 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH results in eyes that are slightly reduced in size. Flies expressing cvEP1349 under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev have wild-type eyes. Flies expressing cvEP1349 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E have wild-type wings.

Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The disruption of the posterior crossvein characteristic for flies expressing Gyc76CGD48 under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 is not improved by co-expression of cvEP1349, nor by the combination of sogScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 and cvEP1349 but it is rescued by triple co-expression of sogScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, cvEP1349 and cv-2EP1103.

Co-expression of sogScer\UAS.cYa and cvEP1349 in the posterior compartment of the wing, driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E, results in truncation of longitudinal veins in this compartment and the appearance of ectopic veins in the anterior compartment.
