Only 18% of testis somatic cyst stem cells show repositioning of the mitotic spindle during anaphase in males expressing MoedsRNA.327-775.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 compared to 76% of cases in heterozygous controls.

Expression of MoedsRNA.327-775.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 induces ectopic apoptosis in third instar wing imaginal disc cells.

Wings form Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1>MoedsRNA.327-775.Scer\UAS adults display a reduced area between veins 3 and 4.

Apical differentiation and organisation of the actin cytoskeleton is severely disrupted in the photoreceptors of Moe818-1326.dsRNA.Scer\UAS; Moe327-775.dsRNA.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF animals. Microvillar and stalk membranes in these photoreceptors are distinct but jumbled. Despite these defects, epithelial integrity is maintained, and photoreceptor adherens-junctions appear normal.
