Adults expressing Atg7dsRNA.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB infected with ZIKV present an increased viral load in the head, as compared to infected controls.

Expression of Atg7dsRNA.Scer\UAS RNAi under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 does not cause any obvious defects in lysosomal tubular network in the sarcoplasm of third instar larval muscle.

Expression of Atg7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of either Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 or Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 results in increased intestinal stem cell proliferation in response to paraquat or Ecc15.

Flies expressing Atg7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.Switch.PR in the presence of RU486 show reduced lysotracker red staining of the adult midgut compared to controls in both fed and fasting flies.

Adult expression of Atg7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.Switch.PR in the presence of RU486 has no effect on adult lifespan.

The lifespan of flies injected with E.coli is significantly reduced by expression of Atg7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.Switch.PR in the presence of RU486. These flies show a significant increase in bacterial load compared to control flies.

Flies expressing Atg7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act are more sensitive to infection by Vesicular Stomatitis Virus than control flies, and succumb to the virus.

Expression of Atg7dsRNA.Scer\UAS is unable to suppress the rough eye phenotype and third instar larval eye disc cell death seen when Atg9Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.
