Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4G14 or Scer\GAL4elav.PLu does not result in any motor axon guidance defects.

Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B leads to a large central blister in the wing.

Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA does not result in a detectable phenotype.

Expression of two copies of tokScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 does not affect posterior crossvein formation. Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 largely restores posterior crossvein patterning in the adult wing.

Expression of two copies of tokScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 does not affect posterior crossvein formation.

The partial loss of the wing posterior crossvein characteristic for PaicsX1 mutant adults is rescued by expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU in the mutant background.

The disruption of the posterior crossvein characteristic for flies expressing Gyc76CGD48 under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 is not improved by co-expression of any of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1.

The loss of the posterior crossvein due to sogu.Scer\UAS-overexpression is exacerbated when tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 is also expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4A9.

Co-overexpression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 with sogScer\UAS.cYa and tsgScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 is able to reverse the sogScer\UAS.cYa-tsgScer\UAS.cYa small-wing phenotype and restore normal patterning.

Co-overexpression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 with sogu.Scer\UAS and tsgScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 results in a small-wing phenotype and abnormal wing vein patterning.

Expression of dawScer\UAS.cSa and tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 in the wing under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 does not result in any wing vein-patterning defects.

Expression of baboc.Scer\UAS, dawScer\UAS.cSa and tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 in the wing under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 results in a severe wing vein-patterning defects.

Coexpression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 and dawScer\UAS.cSa, under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA results in over 50% pupal lethality, as opposed to under 10% in Scer\GAL4Cg.PA>dawScer\UAS.cSa animals and no lethality in Scer\GAL4Cg.PA>tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 animals.

Coexpression of sogScer\UAS.cYa and tsgScer\UAS.cYa in the wing disc, under the control of Scer\GAL4A9, produces a small wing with altered patterns of venation. Coexpression of tokScer\UAS.cSa with these two transgenes is able to reverse the small wing phenotype and restore normal patterning. Co-overexpression of tldScer\UAS.cHa and tokScer\UAS.cSa, under the control of Scer\GAL4A9, leads to an increased penetrance and severity of the posterior crossvein phenotype compared to expression of tldScer\UAS.cHa alone.

Comments

Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB using heat shock during mid-embryogenesis completely rescues the innervation defects on all muscles in tokK788/tokD427 animals.

Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4G14, Scer\GAL4elav.PLu, Scer\GAL4ppl.PP or Scer\GAL4srp completely rescues the muscle innervation defects in tokK788/tokD427 animals.

Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cha.7.4 does not rescue the innervation defects on muscles that are seen in tokK788/tokD427 animals.

Expression of tokScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 largely restores posterior crossvein patterning in the adult wing of tokΔ2-41/tokE1 mutants.
