      Scer\GAL4αTub84B.Switch.PK SmoxJF02320 adults, fed with RU486 to activate expression, show extended lifespan compared to controls.

      Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW SmoxJF02320 adults, but not Scer\GAL4Switch1.106 SmoxJF02320 adults, show extended lifespan compared to controls.

      Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW-mediated expression of SmoxJF02320 retards the normal decline in flight activity seen in aging flies, and delays the normal increase in protein aggregates and the normal decrease in lysosomes/autophagic vacuoles within muscle.

      Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW-mediated expression of SmoxJF02320 does not affect female fecundity.
